Alexandra Laverne McGee, 32, of Eden passed away on September 3, 2024 at UNC Health Rockingham in Eden.
A memorial service will be announced by the family at a later date.
Alexandra was born January 23, 1992, in Montgomery County, Maryland, to Kelly Porter and the late Gail McGee. She received her master’s degree from the University of Maryland. She later moved to North Carolina and had been working in sales at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. She was a hard worker and she enjoyed spending her time with her family.
Surviving are her father, Kelly Porter; sisters, Tiffany Bostic, Merissa Lynn Porter, Tekia Nicole White, Karla Marie Press-Porter; brother, Nicholas Aaron Porter; aunt, Shelia McGee; Uncle, Edward William Wallace, III; cousin, Seth McGee; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In addition to her mother, Alexandra is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Laverne Woodson McGee, and maternal aunt, Cheryl McGee Wallace.
