Alan Craig Archer, 74, of Madison passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Annie Penn Hospital.
Alan was born in Logan, Iowa on January 1, 1951, a son of Clarence Wilbur Archer and Ada Wicker Archer, both deceased. He served his country in the US Coast Guard. He retired from Huddle House as manager. He loved fishing, hunting, shooting guns and riding motorcycles. He was an advocate of the Patriot Guard Riders.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Corliss Cox, his brother, Marion Eugene Archer and his best friends, Hutch and Bob.
Alan is survived by his wife Wanda Ridgeway Archer of the home; his children, Amanda Broome (Eddie) of Paris, TN, Victoria McLeod (Keith) of Alabama, and Alana Masters (Jason) of Jacksonville, FL; his siblings, Dr. Mildred Nation (Larry) of Melbourne, FL, Ernie Smith of Des Moines, IA and Carroll Archer (Debbie) of Huntersville, NC; his grandchildren, E.J., Dylan, Cyndal; his great grandchild, Taylor Marie; and several nieces and nephews.
