Agnes Apple Wall of Reidsville, N. C. was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world on August 23rd at age 94. She was born to Robert and Sally Apple on June 1st 1928. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Dean, Ray and Eddie Apple and her husband Al Wall. Agnes was a native of Rockingham County and a member of Baptist Temple Church.
Agnes lit up any room she entered and never met a stranger. It was not unusual for her to invite anyone that came to the door to have dinner with the family. She enjoyed carrying on a friendly conversation with anyone that would listen. The only thing that rivaled her talking was her dancing. She was always happiest when she was dancing. Agnes was caring and generous and never hesitated to help others. She will be missed by all.
She is survived by her children Pam Gunn Scott of Reidsville and Greg (Jennifer) Gunn of Reidsville. She is also survived by her grandchildren Stephanie (Mike) DeHart, Alyson (Clint) Walker, Logan (Stacie) Gunn, Erin Scott, Natalie Scott and 6 great grandchildren.
The family will have a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers or food, please make donations to Hospice of Rockingham County.
