On October 18, 2023, at approximately 5:50 a.m., Reidsville Police Officers responded to the 800 Block of Barnes Street regarding a gunshot victim.
Officers located Timothy Ray Kuchinski suffering from a gunshot wound. Kuchinski was transported to a local hospital.
This is an ongoing investigation.
UPDATE:
Reidsville Police Investigators have obtained warrants for James Dwight McDaniel Jr, age 39 of Barnes Street, Reidsville NC for the following charges:
- Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injuries
- Attempted Murder
- Two (2) counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
We request the public to contact their local law enforcement agency if the whereabouts of McDaniel is known. Please do not approach as he is considered to be armed and dangerous.
