MAN FACES FELONY DRUG CHARGES FOLLOWING LATE-NIGHT ENCOUNTER IN STONEVILLE
STONEVILLE, N.C. โ A Rockingham County man is facing felony drug charges after officers with the Stoneville Police Department initiated an investigation into a suspicious vehicle late Monday night.
At approximately 11:21 p.m. on June 30, officers encountered Caleb Randall King, age 31, sitting alone in a blue 2-door sedan parked inside the car wash bay at 305 S. Henry Street.
According to authorities, King was found in the driverโs seat with a tourniquet wrapped around his arm, a knife in his lap, and an open syringe on the driverโs side floorboard. Based on these observations, officers conducted a probable cause search, which led to the seizure of approximately 2 grams of purple/brown Fentanyl.

โข Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
King was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Rockingham County Jail, where he is being held under a $10,000 secured bond.
His next scheduled court appearance is set for July 23, 2025.
