Eden Police Department News Release • December 21, 2022 • Lt. Lovings
(Eden, NC) – On Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at approximately 7:00 a.m., the Eden Police Department initiated a warrant round up, titled “Jingle Bails”. Operation Jingle Bails, targeted thirteen street level, narcotics dealers and ten (10) individuals with non-narcotic outstanding warrants. With the assistance of the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office thirteen (13) individuals were located and arrested. Investigators are still seeking the whereabouts of the ten (10) individuals who were not apprehended today.
Chief Simpson stated “I am thankful for the working relationships and assistance by the NCSBI and the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Department. I also appreciate the hard work of our officers and detectives as they continuously strive to keep our community safe. This operation is another clear example of the serious drug issues facing communities in our nation. If you have an addiction, we encourage you to seek help. We will assist you within our means to link you with a service provider to start the rehabilitation process. However, to the individuals who choose to sell illicit drugs in our community and neighborhoods, commit criminal acts, or hurt our citizens and community, consider this a warning, to save lives and keep our community and citizens safe, we will continue to vigorously enforce drug laws and all crimes against person(s).”
These following have been arrested as a result of “Operation Jingle Bails”:
ARRESTED
Patrick Galloway (44) of Moir St. was arrested and charged with one (1) count of Possession with intent to sell and deliver Schedule II controlled substance(F), one (1) count of Sell and Deliver Schedule II controlled substance (F) and two (2) counts of sell/deliver a controlled substance near a public park (F). Galloway is being held in Rockingham County Jail under $150,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on January 05, 2023.
Jarod Huff (30) of Moir St. was arrested and charged with one (1) count of Possession with intent to sell and deliver Schedule I (F), and one count of Maintaining a dwelling for the sell of a controlled substance (F). Huff was issued a $20,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on January 05, 2023.
Julius Brown Jr. (45) of Coleman St. was arrested and charged with one (1) count of Trafficking Cocaine, two (2) counts of Possession with intent to sell and deliver Schedule II controlled substance (Cocaine)(F), One (1) count of sell/deliver a controlled substance near a School (F), one count of Maintaining a dwelling for the sale of a controlled substance (F), one (1) count of possession of drug paraphernalia, and one (1) count of possession of Schedule II controlled substance Brown is being held in Rockingham County Jail under $125,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on January 05, 2023. **At the time of Brown’s arrest Officers seized an additional 74 grams of “Crack Cocaine”.**
Dario Foster (38) of Conover Dr. was arrested and charged with one (1) count of Possession with intent to sell and deliver Schedule I (F), and one count of Maintaining a dwelling for the sale of a controlled substance (F). Foster was issued a $20,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on January 05, 2023.
Trevor Seth Gwynn (29) of Early Ave. was arrested and charged with two (2) counts of Possession with intent to sell and deliver Schedule I controlled substance(F), and two (2) count of sell/deliver a controlled substance near a public park (F). Gwynn is being held in Rockingham County Jail under $95,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County Superior Court on January 03, 2023.
Damien Kristian Martin (40) of Willow St. was arrested and charged with two (2) counts of Possession with intent to sell and deliver Schedule II (F), and two (2) counts of Maintaining a dwelling for the sale of a controlled substance (F). Martin was issued a $25,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on January 03, 2023.
Willie Nathaniel Watkins (63) of Delaware Ave. was arrested and charged with two (2) counts of Possession with intent to sell and deliver Schedule II (F), and one (1) count of Maintaining a dwelling for the sale of a controlled substance (F). Martin was issued a $50,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on January 05, 2023.
Darryl Wayne Bowman (58) of Early Ave. was arrested and charged with one (1) count of Possession with intent to sell and deliver Schedule IV (F), Bowman is being held in Rockingham County Jail under $20,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on January 03, 2023.
Daryl Cochran was charged with one (1) count of Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance. Cochran turned himself in at the Guilford County Magistrates office where he was given a written promise to appear in court. Cochran is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on January 09, 2023.
William Trent (41) of Business 29 in Reidsville was arrested and charged with one (1) count of misdemeanor larceny Trent was given a $2,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on January 18, 2023.
William Clay Hundley (41) of Estes Rd, Ruffin, was arrested and charged with one (1) count of Fraud (Obtaining property by false pretense). Hundley was given a $2,500 unsecured bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on January 03, 2023.
Timmy Lee Sheckells (36) of Park Rd was arrested and charged with two (2) counts of Breaking and Entering a Motor vehicle and two (2) counts of larceny after B&E. Sheckells is being held in Rockingham County Jail under $20,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County Superior Court on January 11, 2023.
Towana Hairston (56) Church St. was arrested and charged with one (1) count of Possession with intent to sell and deliver Schedule II (F), and one (1) count of Maintaining a dwelling for the sale of a controlled substance (F). Hairston was issued a $5,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on January 03, 2023.

Tanya Denise Smith (48) of Fisher St. has been charged with two (2) counts of Possession with intent to sell and deliver Methamphetamine (F) and two (2) counts of Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine (F).
Tytania Denise Hairston (48) of Cedar St. has been charged with two (2) counts of Possession with intent to sell and deliver Cocaine (F), two (2) counts of sell/deliver a controlled substance near a public School two (2) counts of Maintaining a dwelling for the sale of a controlled substance (F).
Edward Ray Mundy (34) of Orchard Dr. has been charged with two (2) counts of Possession with intent to sell and deliver Schedule I Controlled Substance (F), two (2) counts of sell/deliver a controlled substance near a public School.
Brandi Ann Solomon has been charged with fraud (obtaining property by false pretense).
Johnny O’Neal Joyce (54) of Smith Rd. in Stoneville has been charged with fraud (obtaining property by false pretense).
Steven Clark (42) of Bridge St. has been charged with fraud (obtaining property by false pretense).
Myriah Spencer Sinclair (31) of Fagg Dr. has been charged with Injury to personal property.
