Disclaimer: All individuals arrested, charged or served with a summons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. An arrest does not mean that the individual has been convicted of the crime. This post is intended for informational purposes. Due to the format, it is only updated periodically. Current status of individuals must be verified by law enforcement. All content provided in RockinghamUpdate’s Crime Blotter is obtained from the public domain and accessible through the reporting agency of record in the city, county or state from where the data was obtained. The information listed in this posting reflects crimes as reported to RockinghamUpdate.com as of the posting date. Rockingham Update reproduces publicly available records but does not guarantee accuracy of the records as they are maintained by the public services agency or public information source. Please contact Rockingham Update to report an inaccuracy. Rockingham Update understands that an arrest isn’t just about the individual who has been charged, it is also part of a process of the duties of the tax-payer funded police force at work.  By listing these arrests/summons is our way of informing the public of its tax dollars at work and thus keeping the public informed on police activities, helping to act as a check and balance. A note pertaining to juvenile listings: at the time of this posting, NC Youths ages 16 and older who are charged with a criminal offense automatically go directly to the adult criminal system, not the juvenile delinquency system.
