8 ARRESTED 1 WANTED
(Eden, NC) – Over the course of the past few months Eden Police Department’s, Special Operations Division, conducted a covert operation targeting street level drug dealers. Particularly, targeting those who chose to distribute illegal narcotics near our schools, child care facilities and public parks.
The Eden Police Department continues to work diligently to keep our community safe.
Chief Simpson has the following message: “Our Patrol Division and Investigative Division will continue to investigate, identify and charge individuals who choose to commit acts of violence or sell illegal narcotics in our community. Engaging in this type of activity in and around our schools and daycares will be fully investigated and met with the most severe charges possible upon consultation with the Rockingham County District Attorney’s Office.”
The individuals below have been charged with the following crimes:
Krysta Maliah Patrick 24 years old
Friendly Road
Eden, North Carolina
Krysta Patrick was arrested and charged with two (2) counts of sell and deliver cocaine within 1,000 feet of the boundary of real property used for a child care center, or for an Elementary or Secondary School. Two (2) counts of Possession with intent to sell and deliver Cocaine and two (2) counts of Sell and Deliver Cocaine. Patrick was given a $40,000 Secure bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on July 20, 2022.
Shannon McBride Boyd “Rainbow” 42 years old
High Street
Eden, North Carolina
Shannon Boyd was arrested and charged with one (1) count of Possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II, one (1) count of Sell and Schedule II and one count of Maintaining a dwelling for the sell of a controlled substance. Boyd was given a $5,000 Secure bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on July 21, 2022.
Dominique Raquan Jabbar Starkes “Boodha” 25 years old
Stoney Brook Drive
Eden, North Carolina
Dominique Starkes was arrested and charged with two (2) counts of sell or deliver a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a city park. One (1) count of maintaining a vehicle used for keeping and selling controlled substance. Three (3) counts of Possession with intent to sell and deliver Schedule 1 and two (3) counts of Sell and Deliver schedule 1 controlled substance. Starkes was given a $40,000 Secure bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on June 27, 2022.
Allanti Marquan Broadnax “Baby Tae” 28 years old
Moir St
Eden, North Carolina
Allanti Broadnax was arrested and charged with two (2) counts of Possession with intent to sell and deliver Cocaine, one (2) count of Sell and Deliver Cocaine and one count of Maintaining a dwelling for the sell of a controlled substance. Broadnax is currently in custody at the Rockingham County Jail.
Mike Leon Smith “Hatchett” 43 years old
Baggage Road
Maddison, North Carolina
Smith was arrested and charged with one (1) count of Conspiracy Possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II, one (1) count of Sell and Schedule II and one (1) count of Maintaining a dwelling for the sell of a controlled substance. Smith was given a $15,000 Secure bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on July 21, 2022.
Eric Brandon Hampton “E” 37 years old
Short Morgan Road
Eden, North Carolina
Eric Hampton was arrested and charged with one (1) count of Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of the boundary of real property used for a child care center. One (1) count of trafficking amphetamines one (1) count of Maintaining a dwelling for the sell of a controlled substance. Hampton was given a $250,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on July 21, 2022.
Lagrande Casey “Grand” 53 years old
Price Street
Eden, North Carolina
Lagrande Casey was arrested and charged with two (2) counts of sell and deliver cocaine within 1,000 feet of the boundary of real property used for an Elementary or Secondary School. Two (2) counts of Possession with intent to sell and deliver Cocaine, one (1) count of Maintaining a dwelling for the sell of a controlled substance, and two (2) counts of Sell and Deliver Cocaine. Casey was given a $10,000 Secure bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on July 20, 2022.
Brandon Elwell Younger 38 years old
E. Aiken Road
Eden, North Carolina
Brandon Younger was arrested and charged with one (1) count of Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of the boundary of real property used for a child care center. One (1) count of trafficking amphetamines one (1) count of Maintaining a dwelling for the sell of a controlled substance. Younger is currently in custody and awaiting trial.

Chad Lashane Price Jr. “CJ” 29 years old
Axton, Virginia
Chad Price was arrested and charged with two (2) counts of possessing with the intent to sell and deliver a controlled substance, Heroin, which is included in Schedule I of the North Carolina Controlled Substances Act, two (2) counts of sell and deliver schedule I and two (2) counts of Maintaining a vehicle for the sell of a controlled substance. THE EDEN POLICE DEPARTMENT IS CURRENTLY ATTEMPTING TO LOCATE CHAD PRICE FOR THE OUTSTANDING WARRANTS NAMED ABOVE.
