(Eden, NC) – On 03/26/2025, after an extensive investigation, the Eden Police Department Special Operations Division charged Candace Michelle Hampton, “Cupcake”, 37, of 203 Short Morgan St. Eden N.C., for the following:
• Possession of a Firearm by a Felon (Felony)
• M/S/D/P a Controlled Substance within 1,000 of a Park (Felony)
• Possession of Cocaine (Felony)
• PWIMSD Sch I (Felony)
• Possession of Sch I (Felony)
• Maintain a Dwelling for Selling a Controlled Substance (Felony)
• PWISD Marijuana (Felony)
• Possession of Marijuana (Misd)
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Misd)
• Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia (Misd)
Hampton was transported to the Rockingham County Magistrates Office where she was given a 500,000 Secure Bond. Candace Michelle Hampton is to appear in Wentworth District Court on April, 4th, 2025 at 9:00am.
