
Eden Police Department News Release • May 21, 2025 • Lt. D. Stepps
(Eden, NC) – On Friday, May 16, 2025, Officers with the Eden Police Department were dispatched to 617 Park Avenue in reference to a 911 hang up. Eden Police Officers arrived on scene and observed a verbal altercation between two parties. Officers were able to de-escalate the problem and while speaking with the parties, Officers gained probable cause which lead to a search warrant at the residence. The Eden Police Department has charged Robert Brandon Myers (47) for the following:

•Possession of a Firearm by Felon (Felony) x2
•Trafficking Marijuana (Felony)
•Possession with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell or Deliver Marijuana. (Felony)
•Maintain a Dwelling for the sale of Narcotics (Felony)
•Felony Possession of Marijuana (Felony)
•Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Misdemeanor)
Myers was transported to the Rockingham County Magistrates Office where the Magistrate issued Myers a $16,000 secured bond. Robert Brandon Myers is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on May, 28th, 2025 at 9:00am.
