Center For Workforce Development Groundbreaking Ceremony – Rockingham County, NC – May 3, 2022
(Wentworth, NC) – On Tuesday, May 3, 2022 State and Local Leaders and Officials gathered at Rockingham Community College for The Center For Workforce Development Groundbreaking Ceremony.
The project is funded by a quarter-cent sales tax that was passed by Rockingham county voters in 2018. The 42,398-square-foot facility is planned to house Machining, Industrial Systems, and Electrical Systems programs, as well as a Small Business Center, faculty offices, a corporate meeting space and more.
Construction on the project is expected to be completed in the fall of 2023.
