On Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at around noon, while on routine patrol, Rockingham County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Steve Perkins located a motorcycle on the side of the road on U.S. 29 Bypass (Southbound), just South of the Narrow Gauge Rd. Exit in Reidsville, with no one around it. This motorcycle matched the description of a suspect vehicle used in an Armed Robbery of a bank in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, about 45 minutes prior.
