Kristi Bullins Sparks, 54, departed this earthly life Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Novant Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem.
Born on November 21, 1969, in Rockingham County, Kristi was a graduate of North Stokes High School. She received a BA of Science degree from Gardner- Webb University. Her passion was to help young adults with addiction issues and to counsel young girls dealing with teen pregnancy. Kristi was an avid reader, loved cooking, baking, and anything Harry Potter. Her greatest joy was time with her grandsons Easton and Samuel.
Kristi was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Bartley Sparks; father, Jimmy Henry Bullins, and grandparents, Lucy Cardwell Vaden Smith and J.C. Vaden, Cordell Bullins and Ollie Whitten Bullins.
Survivors include mother, Rita Vaden Bullins, of Sandy Ridge; sons, Aaron Bartley Sparks (Caitlin), of Danbury, and Desmond Sparks, of Sandy Ridge; sister, Duana Bullins, of Texas; and grandsons, Easton Bartley Sparks (age 8) and Samuel Henry Sparks (age 4).
A private service for family will be held at a later date.
Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
