Eden Police Department News Release • October 29, 2024 • Lt. D. Stepps
(Eden, NC) – On Friday, October 18, 2024, The Eden Police Department responded to 507 Washburn Avenue in Eden, in reference to a missing person “Ashley Patterson” while on scene officers looked through a window and observed a deceased dog.
The Eden Police Department Investigators later learned that Ashley Patterson went with a friend to Virginia, and had left the dog unattended, with no one to care for it.
After a thorough investigation and consulting with the Rockingham County District Attorney’s Office, Detective Tyson Scales secured warrants on 40-Year old Ashley Dawn Patterson of Eden, for the following offenses:
