Obituary: ROZELLA “ROSIE” MANUEL

Rozella Manuel “Rosie”, 82, ended her journey on Earth, the angel band has taken away.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am Monday, October 14, 2024 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Rosie was born in Madison on May 6, 1942, a daughter of Joe Stevens and Cora Corum Stevens, both deceased. She formerly worked in the Rockingham County School System as a cafeteria worked. She retired from Unifi.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Norman Manuel, her siblings, Troy Stevens, Tommy Joe Stevens, John Thomas Stevens, Martha Marshall, Rachel Dunlap, Mary White, Francis Hodge and son-in-law, Ronnie Martin.

Rosie is survived by her daughter, Vickie Martin; her granddaughter, Jessica McManus and husband Justin; her grandson, Matthew McManus; her daughter-in-law, Carol Manuel; many beloved nieces and nephews, and many, many friends, and Alicia and Carla, her “adopted” granddaughters.
