Obituary: TERRY FRED SOMERS

Terry Fred Somers, 71, of Sneads Ferry, NC went to be with the Lord Sunday September 22, 2024 at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
A native of Reidsville, NC, he was a son of the late William Grant and Barbara Brande Somers and had lived in Sneads Ferry, NC for the past 25 years. He was a former employee of Glen Raven Mills, but due to health reasons he has been unable to work for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Cecil Somers. Terry enjoyed walking on the beach, being with family and looked forward to family gatherings, watching old movies, and loved to take care of stray cats.
Survivors include his long time partner: Gary Ferrell of Sneads Ferry, NC, his son: Nick Somers (Jeanna Coleman) of Gibsonville, his brother: Dale Somers of Gibsonville, his sisters: Cheryl Pettigrew (David) of Gibsonville, and Karol Gray (Don) of Waynesville, NC, sister-in-law: Pam Somers of Raleigh, three grandchildren: Sydnee Somers, Nolan Somers, and Nora Somers.
