Wanda Hope Collins Bullins, 73, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, entered eternal rest Monday, September 23, 2024, at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist University Baptist Medical Center.

She was born in Chatham County, N.C., on January 13, 1951, to the late James Harold Collins and Annie Louise Booth Collins. Wanda from early childhood and adolescent years had a quest for learning, love for her family, and deep commitment to the Lord.

She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Greensboro. Wanda taught elementary school for over 11 years in Walnut Cove. She loved her students and had a great impact on many lives who sat under her teaching. Always patient, kind, and respectful of others, she manifested the fruit of the Spirit of Christ.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James Willie Bullins; son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Tina Bullins; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie Collins Rodell and Gary Rodell; special nephew and wife, Josh and Amanda Collins; their son, Wanda’s little Luke; adopted son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Jenn Yacono, and their children, Gabe and Estella (like Wanda’s grandchildren). She will dearly be missed by her loving feline companion, Marcella.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel, and other times at the residence. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with interment following in the Nelson Family Cemetery.
