Obituary: DELORES GERTRUDE DUGGINS VADEN

Delores Gertrude Duggins Vaden, 89, of Mayodan, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Annie Penn Hospital.
Delores was born in Rockingham County on October 13, 1934, to the late Grant and Anne Reddick Duggins. She was a member of The Refuge Church in Mayodan. Delores loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She was known for her cooking, loved to dress up and wear her jewelry, and decorate for the different seasons.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Vaden; and her sisters, Patsy Watkins and Becky Stewart.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Keith Vaden and wife Jo and David Vaden and wife Renee` all of Mayodan; her sister, Brenda Smith of Mayodan; grandchildren, Jacob Vaden of Asheville, Ross Vaden and wife Natalie of Rocky Mount, and Cole Vaden and wife Kathryn of High Point; great grandchildren, Luther James Vaden and one on the way, William Brewer Vaden; and her special friends, Felicia Farmer, Alene Hall, Katusha Randolph, and Betty Richardson.
The family would like to thank her sister, Brenda Smith for all of her care shown to Delores.
