Obituary: FLOYD EARL CAULDER, SR

Floyd Earl Caulder, Sr., 66, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 29, 2024.

A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Harmon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at home.

Floyd was born in Robeson County to the late James Allen Caulder and Alma Ruth Ramey. He graduated from Reidsville Highschool in 1975. Floyd retired from Ball Corporation after 27 years of service. He was an avid golfer and card player. He loved fishing, chess, and backgammon, but most of all he loved his family.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; brother, Jimmy Caulder and stepbrother, Danny Harmon.

Floyd is survived by his loving wife, Renee Stratton Caulder; son, Floyd Caulder Jr. (Jennifer); stepson, Justin Maynard (Danielle); sister, Debbie Cook (Dean); stepsister, Janet Webb (Dexter); stepbrother, Billy Harmon (Theresa); grandchildren, Tangie Henry (Nicolas), Ceadez Caulder, and Greylyn Pearson; canine companion, Benji along with a large and loving group of extended family and friends.

The family would like to offer special thanks to Ancora Compassionate Care for the outstanding care they provided Floyd in his time of need.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Ancora Compassionate Care at PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
