Obituary: WILLIAM “HAYDEN” SHARPE

William “Hayden” Sharpe, 35, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

A 12:00 p.m. funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at First Baptist Church- Mayodan Family Life Center with Rev. Randy Jessup officiating. Burial will follow at Mayodan Municipal Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. and immediately following the burial at Downtown Jrs Sports Grill; and other times at his and his mother’s home.

Hayden was born in Rockingham County on April 16, 1989, to Mona Hayden Easter. He worked as a foreman with Impact Fire Protection. Hayden was adventurous, was a loyal friend, had a contagious smile, and was considered the Life of the Party. His passion was riding dirt bikes. Hayden loved his baby girl, Reagan, his mom, Mona, and his soulmate, Sarah.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glenda and Buddy Hayden; and his uncle, Mark Hayden.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mona Easter (Louis Ashburn); his wife, Sarah Trent Sharpe; his daughter, Reagan Mae Sharpe; his mother-in-law, Beth Manley; a brother, Jimmy Sharpe; his aunts, Marla Martin (Tim) and Mechelle Lindenberg (Gary); a nephew, Jimmy (MeKayla); great nephew, Silas; and many other cousins and special friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ray Funeral Home for his daughter, Reagan Mae.
