Obituary: RONALD ODELL HALL, SR

Ronald Odell Hall, Sr., 80, passed away on January 24, 2024 at Baptist Hospital.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday January 28, 2024 at Oak Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:50p.m. at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Ronald was born on January 9, 1944 to the late Clarence and Ruth Hall in Stokes County. He enjoyed being outdoors especially rabbit and squirrel hunting. Ronald was a faithful member of Oak Grove Baptist church. He was a past deacon, served as assistant Sunday school teacher, and sang bass in the adult choir. He worked for UNIFI for 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence David Hall, Ruth Priddy Hall; sister, Pauline Brewer.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Brenda Rhodes Hall; son, Del Hall, Jr.; grandchildren, Hayleigh James (Ryan), Noah Hall; great-grandchildren, Weston James; brothers, Timmy Hall (Ann), Jimmy Hall.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, and/or The American Heart Association.

Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.
