Obituary: TRAVIS LEVERN MILLER

Travis Levern Miller departed this life on Tuesday afternoon, June 14, 2022. 

He was a native of Rockingham County, North Carolina and a resident of Greensboro for the past 13 years.  “Bunny”, as he was affectionately referred by family and close friends, was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, Class of 1968 and a veteran of the United States Army.  He was a former employee of the North Carolina Employment Commission and a member of M & L Memorial Faith Tabernacle.  Known as a debonair and suave gentleman who wore stylish suits, he was loved and adored by all who knew him.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.  “Bunny” was an avid sportsman with a penchant for playing pool and football (Dallas Cowboy fan). 

His mother, Annie Bell Miller Finch; brothers, Larry Miller and Keith Finch, preceded him in death.   

Survivors are: loving daughters, Yolanda Darden (Tramarcus) and Starlena Breeze (Thomas); devoted son, Jamar Miller (Amber); grandchildren, Chelsea, Kelsey, Javen, Tramarcus Jr. and C.J.; sisters, Sandra Finch Tyree (James), Tonia Scales (Russell) and Mae Broadnax; brothers, Jeffrey Finch, John Penn (Margie) and Anthony Slade; special cousins, Dennis Jackson and Lorenzo Johnson; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022 from the M & L Memorial Faith Tabernacle, 537 Warriner Street, Reidsville with Pastor James Lawson presiding.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:30 until 1:00 p.m. at the church.  Public viewing will be Friday afternoon from 2 until 8 p.m. at Johnson & Sons, 115 Holderby Street, Reidsville.
