Johnny Lee Barrett, 68, passed away Sunday evening, June 25, 2023, at Gibson House in Reidsville.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday afternoon, June 28th, from 4 – 5 PM at Colonial Funeral Home & Chapel in Madison before traveling to Barrett Family Cemetery, 1839 Park Road in Mayodan for a 5:30 PM graveside service. There will be no family visitation at the home.
Johnny was born July 28, 1954 in Rockingham County, NC to the late Wallace Leroy Barrett and Lucille Bullins Barrett. He was previously employed by MHC Kenworth Company.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Alley Barrett of the home; son, Matthew Barrett of Mayodan; two brothers, Jackie Barrett of Mayodan and Randy Barrett of Madison; sister, Penny Barrett-Welch (Jody) of Stoneville; brother-in-law, Jimmy Alley (Debbie); father-in-law, James Alley and numerous special nieces and nephews.
Colonial Funeral Home & Chapel in Madison is serving the family.
