Pauline DeHart Litaker, 96, of Eden, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.
Funeral Services will be Friday, 11 am at North Spray Christian Church, 521 Washburn Ave, Eden. Family will receive friends Thursday 5 – 7 pm at Fair Funeral Home, 432 Boone Road, Eden. Burial to follow the service in Lawson Cemetery, Eden.
Pauline was born September 13, 1926, in Rockingham County, to the late Jesse Green and Mary Ida Shelor DeHart. She worked as a secretary for Fieldcrest Mills before working as the secretary for North Spray Christian Church, where she was a life time member. She was a graduate of Leaksville High School and a graduate of The Womens College in Greensboro (UNCG).
She is survived by two sons; Bruce (Lisa) Litaker of Greensboro and Randy Litaker of Baltimore, Maryland; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Jarrett of Swansboro; two grandsons, Carter and Cameron Litaker of Greensboro. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Luther Litaker; her siblings, Kathlyn DeHart Burks, Jessie DeHart, Jr. and James F. DeHart.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Spray Christian Church, 521 Washburn Ave, Eden, NC 27288.
