Surviving are Jaxson’s mother, Martha Ann Mitchell; grandmother, Yvonne Stevens Freeman; uncle, Andrew Clay Edwards; aunt, Tracey Lee Mitchell; cousins, Ashlynn Elizabeth Harris, Nathaniel Carter; Godmothers, Mary Thompson and Jessica Smith.
Jaxson is preceded in death by his grandfather, Harry Sanford Mitchell, Jr.; great-grandmother, Naomi Vestal Stevens; uncle, Rodger Dale Mitchell; great-uncle, Calvin Coolidge Stevens, Jr.
