
Eden Police Department News Release • February 6, 2025 • Lt. D. Stepps
(Eden, NC) – At approximately 12:20 AM, February 4th 2025, the Eden Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian on South Van Buren Road, just south of South Park Terrace. The preliminary investigation indicated that the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle traveling South on South Van Buren Road. The vehicle that struck the pedestrian fled the scene and continued traveling south on South Van Buren Road. The pedestrian was transported by Rockingham County EMS to Moses Cone hospital in Greensboro North Carolina.
After a thorough investigation and consulting with the Rockingham County District Attorney’s Office, Detective Brock Fox secured warrants on 32-Year old Courtney Deshae Robertson of Danville, Virginia for:
- Felony Hit and Run causing Serious Injury
On February 6th 2025, Courtney Deshae Robertson came to the Eden Police Department and turned herself in. Robertson was transported to the Rockingham County Magistrates Office where she received a $10,000 secured bond.
