William “Dwayne” Steele, 60, left this earthly life, Friday, November 11, 2022, at his residence
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, November 14, at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
Dwayne was born April 6, 1962, in Rockingham County, to the late William Ralph and Lucille Hall Steele. He was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church. Dwayne loved his family dearly and especially his baby “Nattie Bug”. He enjoyed working outside with his son and farming.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margie Glidewell.
Survivors include his sons, Andrew Steele (Hailey) and Judson Steele (Kasey), daughters, Natallie Steele, Brandi Steele, and Kayla Steele; grandchildren, Hinson Steele, Lauren Smith, Austin Steele, and Marley Steele; sisters, Joan Shelor and Donna Hodge; and his love, Sarah Greer.
Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
