Baby Tate Sawyer Walker peacefully went to see his lord and savior Wednesday, June 15, 2023 at his home.
He was 18 months old. He was a native of Reidsville, the son of Ryan and Jahavier Vernon Walker. He was preceded in death by his Great-Grandmother Texi Evans Alcorn; Great-Grandfathers Ricky Coleman and Wayne Vernon.
The family will see friends from 5:30 to 7 pm and a celebration of life will be held Monday June 19th at Covington Weslyan Church at 7:00 PM.
Surviving are his parents Ryan and Jahavier Vernon Walker of the home. Grand parents Tyler and Kim Walker of Reidsville, Shirley Friddle and husband Toby of Reidsville, and Phillip Vernon and wife Missy of Reidsville. Aunt Jada Walker of Reidsville; Uncles Dakotah Friddle, Daniel Bibee and wife Sadie of Reidsville. Great Grandparents Michael and Judy Tillman, Patricia Walker, David Walker, and Janice Coleman all of Reidsville. Great Aunt Misti Walker and fiancé Allen Satterfield of Reidsville; Great-Great Aunt Sheila Samuels and husband Johnny of Reidsville.
Memorials can be made to Tate’s Punkin Patch at First Carolina Bank or 117 Longbow Rd Reidsville NC, 27320 where the family will continue Tate’s legacy by helping other children.
Tate’s short but incredible life can best be summed up with the bible verse “For we walk by faith NOT by sight” 2 Corinthians 5: 6-8.
