Robert Junior Craddock, 90, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024, at home surrounded by his family.
Robert Junior, or as everyone knew him (Ratt/Pa), was born on December 6, 1933, in Stokes County to the late Robert Early and Bessie Lee Smith Craddock. He was a hard-working farmer his whole life up until this past October when his health began to decline. Even then, he was upset that he couldn’t finish picking his corn. He enjoyed farming, going to CC Moore store to catch up on the gossip, baseball, and playing cards with friends and grandkids. He loved going to his grandkids sporting events or anything else they were involved in. Junior was a member of Sandy Ridge Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Alice (Robert) Sutphin and infant triplets Mabelle, Estelle, and Odell Craddock.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Annie Ruth Amos Craddock; daughter Debra (Lonnie) Nall; son Jerry (Tricia) Craddock; grandchildren Donnie (Laken), Harley, Heather Nall, Matt (Emily) and Jake Craddock; two great-granddaughters Emersyn and Ensley Nall.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hylton Cemetery fund c/o Frances Young, 1577 Moore Road, Lawsonville, NC 27022.
