Jane Carrington Ayers Nunn of Summerfield, NC, surrounded by adoring family members, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 1:01am on Sunday, January 14, 2024.

Jane was born on October 21, 1943. Jane was a native of Summerfield, daughter of the late Charles Marion Ayers and Julia Parrish Ayers. She graduated from UNC-Greensboro with a Bachelor’s degree in Math. Jane met the love of her life, Dennis Nunn, in 1964 on a blind date. Jane was first and foremost a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her faith and her family were always her priorities and the love of Jesus radiated to everyone around her through her humble and loving spirit.

Jane worked in many fields including education, mortgage, real estate, and Christian ministry. She helped her husband found Every Believer a Witness Ministries in 2003 and faithfully served as office manager until her retirement in 2018.

Jane is survived by her husband, Dennis Nunn, of Summerfield, her son Jon Nunn (Heather), daughters Susan Nunn and Becky Nunn Garrison, and grandchildren, Amanda Nunn, Zachary Garrison, Brad Nunn, Lyla Garrison, and Grace Garrison. She is also survived by her sisters, Linda Ayers Southard and Sue Ayers Beeson (Jimmy), both of Summerfield, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation for the loving care given Jane over the last year and a half by Shelby Taylor. Also, Ancora Hospice was a great blessing in the last six weeks of Jane’s life.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Summerfield First Baptist Church with the service to follow at 2:30 p.m. Friends and family are invited to gather at the church for a time of food and fellowship immediately following the service.
